This has been quite the adventure, starting from 30 people in 2000... While it has changed over the years, it still retains the personal, local, friendly feel of the original group.
One reason for the personal feel is that in the beginning everybody knew (and danced with) each other. That's no longer possible (unless you have a lot of time and a better memory than I do!).
However you can meet many of the posters (and lurkers) at our 4th Annual Community Picnic, Saturday Oct 24, at Ragle Ranch park. I'll post the formal invitation soon.
Each year I'm delighted to see what a fabulous group of interesting, friendly and creative people we are! I love seeing members again and meeting some of the people behind the helpful, thoughtful, and funny posts, the amazing range of talented service providers, as well as the lurkers! Perhaps Miss P, our 10,00th member, will join us as well!
I hope the our community continues to grow and flourish. This is really quite a special thing that we have co-created, that isn't available in many other communities. So let's celebrate! :dance:
