I just did my usual search for "XXPEXXTALXUXXMXXX" and realized that none of my posts come up that way so maybe there are other Waccobianites living under the radar here in RP/cotati that I don't know about...........

5 & a 1/2 is pushing possibilities but definitely possible. Last one I saw over five feet long was up in Lake County/Harbin....in 1983. The record for Pacifics approaches seven feet long and I have a florida pine snake/cousin to our locals.............that is seven and a half feet long............and your welcome to meet him anytime.............his name is Mr. Cuddles. Just got back from a local snake adventure myself in fact.

what a goof. count me in.y brother swears he saw a 5 1/2 -6 ft. gopher snake in their yard. Is that possible? What's the longest you've seen around here??

what? I still don't get it, but we can talk a whole lot about snakes.
oh and say Sssssay, to Mr. Cuddles. (slight twitch, lol)
According to my brother, there's a 6 ft. grandpappy or grandmammy gopher snake stretching out along their path these days. His wife is finding lots to do IN the house.
I'd love to see it. Gopher snakes-- talk about attitude.
