Hi, I've had a small flock of Toulouse geese for over twenty years. I love these geese and have found good homes for "extra" males and their mates when that has become necessary. I have a small place, so right now the flock numbers nine individuals.
This year, things have been fine until just about two weeks ago, when I discovered that last year's hatchling girl is really a boy! And he is challenging his fairly old Dad every day now. They really get into serious fights and I'm afraid one will get hurt. So reluctantly, I have to find Sonny and his mate a good home. These are ordinarily, except when driven by a desire for political power and leadership, very calm, tame and peaceful geese.
So if you have some nice safely fenced pasture land with grass, maybe a pond and a shelter to protect from foxes and racoons, and you'd like some beautiful birds to share with, please call Bev at 823-0974
