Friends should never stab another friend in the back for selfish gains.They should always have your back instead of stabbing it.

Friends should be there through thick and through thin, not running and hiding in times of crisis.

Friends Should be open and honest with you, instead of hiding in self delusion or straight up lying to your face.

Friends should never share personal information with other friends even if it is not all that private.

Friends should keep promises instead of breaking them.

Friends should accept their friends for who they are, not what they may or may not become. They should accept the friend for the facade, their true self and their inner being.

Friends are rare and they are supposed to be forever, not fleeting like lovers.

Friends (especially lovers) should never tell another friend who he or she can have as friends. If they want the privilege to be able to make that suggestion, they should be your husband or wife.

Friends should never come between your other friends. They should be able to be friends with both sides, even when the two sides are at war.

Friends should never choose sides in the disputes of other friends, but should give support and friendship to both sets of friends.

Friends should be there when you need them, and even be there when you don't.

With some friends like the few I mentioned, who needs enemies?

I too have been guilty of these misdoings myself and for all my friends that I have wronged, I am sorry. For all the friends that have wronged me, I forgive you. Life is too short to hold a grudge.

The hardest thing to ever do when you truly love someone is let them go even if that person is the one you want. It must be done. If you try and hold on you are libal to burn that bridge. You need to be happy for them and wish them the best with whomever they are with. If you love them truly then there happiness is what you can give them. If the other person hurts them your kindness may lead you back to them. It will definitely bring you joy and a happy partner sooner if you let go without resentment.
