Hi!
I'm planning to put together a garage sale (possibly a bake sale too?) and would like to find others who are interested --preferably in the downtown SR/JC neighborhoods (or located elsewhere but willing to bring your stuff/take it away).
I don't have a ton of stuffs but I can take the lead on organizing, advertising, etc. Others would be expected to bring their items/help set-up w/tables etc., help out during the sale and/or help clean up/haul stuff away at the end. We would split up responsibilities among us.
I am in downtown SR with a lot of street traffic (near downtown library) and can host or help organize elsewhere. Presumably we would split proceeds equally except for items over a certain agreed upon price which would go to the original owner.
Great for others with smaller amounts of items or those who don't want to go through the fuss of organizing/tagging everything.
Let's put together a great sale and make some money! If there is enough interest and others agree I'd be into donating a portion to a non-profit to give a little back...
