I be sick and tired of being sick and tired, of this parade of...issues that get up our interest. Whole Foods less-than-organic practices, and predatory way of doing business. Healthcare costs too high, state budget subject to change/improvised. What about the ozone layer thinning, or climate change?
I sit in my wicker chair and stare at about 120 books I meant to read, since about 2001? So I read a book, 440 pages. No consequence. I thought that "Crossing the Rubicon" book would be interesting. I don't know if anything came of it. New President we have, who has other challenges.
Most people are just bystanders, me also. And when they do go to a protest carrying a sign..,it must have some effect, other people are watching, taking it in.

I thought of this group the Lobsters a few years ago, and nothing came of it. It stands for "League of Obdurate(O...) Bystanders." We watch the parade go by and go home. Everyone should join the Lobsters, they are so acculturated to the idea of it! The quintessence of Lobsters was the millions of viewers of the TV show "Beverly Hillbillies" and "Green Acres" and the like. They even provide the laugh track that tells you when to laugh. When the show is done, you: run outside screeming with joy? Nope, a tiny chuckle is ok.
Well, there is still a lot to watch, us being bystanders-
But there is one issue I wanted to.. carp about. It is so obscure and yet so ubiquitous. Has the number 9 in it.
All for now... :hmmm:
