My Kitty has Diabetes, we would like some information to help it

Hello,
Anyone familiar with holistic treatment for feline Diabetes? I cannot afford insulin treatment and testing and need some help with treatment for my cat, Twinkie. I've had her 13 years and cannot bear the thought of euthanizing her.

Hi Anita,

Sorry to hear about your cat having diabetes. I have heard amazing things about Coddingtown Vet. The Vet there has been able to "heal" multiple cats of diabetes with scaling down insulin and food modification such that over a few months the cats no longer require insulin. She was sensitive to a friend of mine who was going to have to euthanize her diabetic cat and adopted her cat as a project and restored him to health. Can't recall the vets name, just know she has a skill with this. You might want to give her a try. Good luck!

Also, if you have decent credit there is a credit card out there for pets called Care Credit taken at about half the local vets to help you manage the expenses. :-)
