Dear Community, Many years ago when I lived on Fitzpatrick Lane with my daughters, our landlord, who owned the old redwood grove, wanted to cut it down.
A group was formed called the Friends of the Old Trees and I joined even though it was my landlord. A woman named Edwina was also a part of it and we became friends.
Well, with the hard work of many, a little magick, and legal manuveurs, this grove is now safeguarded in perpetuity by Landpaths and is an amazing and sacred space.
My friend Edwina had a pond on her land that she told us we could always swim in. The grove and the pond is my family's sacred space. But now Edwina is in a home and her children will not let us go there anymore and we are very sad about it.
Does anyone have a pond on their land that we could enjoy, we are very respectful and would treat it as we did our beloved pond for over a decade.
I have been an activist for many years and also helped to secure the Ocean Song lands by working with others meeting weekly for a long time. The last many years I have worked to protect the Laguna and have had great success working with many other like minded folks.
That is my story..can you help?
With Love for this beautiful place we call home, Your activist friend, Magick
