And these are "the good ol' days"! What will the rate of technology growth and change be like in a century? I would assume that global population growth will have slowed considerably by that time, for an as-yet-unknown reason - war, climate change, pandemic? Without a total remake of global human culture, the current population growth just can't be sustained. Where's India going to put its people? What will they eat & drink? Their country is already surrounded by high-population-density countries.

Hard not to assume that there will be some bad times for the human race ahead.

Hi, Tars..
I guess a "total remake of the global human culture" is inevitable, in any case.. it'd be really cool if some of the changes were proactive and by choice, instead of crisis management, or worse.. ; /
