I am still getting multiple copies of some posting announcements. The maximum I think is six: just today, a message from CSummer "On Attachment," posted at 9:33 GMT.
Why is this bulletin board still on British time anyhow?

Me, too, but also from other sources than Wacco (our local email BB manager sent out an announcement last week saying that it was happening on there, too)....still getting some from my Wacco subscribed categories, like two Poems of the Day yesterday.
Me too. I've been getting multiple copies lately.

Hi,
I'm sorry to say that I haven't been able to fix the multiple email problem yet. :(:
I've had trouble both setting up my debugging environment and replicating the problem in a test situation. Very frustrating! :puteranger:
And now Harmony is upon us :ew:and I'll be recovering on Monday and traveling on Tuesday for a working vacation in Bishop, CA of all places...
So starting Wednesday I'll continue working on this.
I realize it's very annoying (it is for me too!). Please be patient.

The max is now up to nine copies of the same message: Speak2Truth*(???)*on "Is America now a Marxist Nation?" [Marxist ??? Why not Trostkyist? or Pannekoekist? or Rietdijkist?]

Zeno,
I just wrote you a brilliant riposte that got lost in digital perdition. Here's a precis. As they say, editing is everything.
Thanks for the interesting references. Council Communism always made more sense than the garden variety, at least to me. Anybody who told Lenin off is OK in my book.
As for Riedijk, "All Bases Belong Us!!".
Brit time?
Well, my distant cousins did invent modern democracy, if not civilization itself. What's your complaint? Ever since William (of Orange) you shouldn't have a thing to bitch about!
By the way, Neal Stephenson's, The Baroque Trilogy, is a great romp, as well as a good intellectual history of the late 1500's through the early 1600's. Ya want a history of the origins of Capitalism and its critics? He's your man!
As for multiple copies? I don't get them because I only read waccobb online. Anyone still receiving it as an email compilation is a modern day Luddite!
Course I don't have a cell. Will not become part of the Borg hive mind. Resistance is not futile and I will not be assimilated. And I don't tweet, text, IM or have a Facebook page. So I guess I'm as much a Luddite fogey as anyone else.
Plus ca change...

P.S. Barry, once you've completed your H-Bacchanal decompression, if you want to slang this over to one of the, "Marxism is going to eat all of our hearts and minds!!!!!" threads, it's no skin off of my rhetorical nose. In my defense I can only add, Zeno started it!

I've started working with a developer in India to help resolve this problem. It takes some time to get the system setup on another machine so that it can be tested and fixed. We've done that, but now she is being pulled away to work on another project (from our sister community board in Ashland).
We'll resume working on it on Monday. I'm sure we'll get it fixed sometime next week.
Thanks for your patience.

The multiple posting problem seems to have been abated.

Multiple copies are back!
Multiple copies are increasing, now sometimes 5 to 6 copies of the same posting!

I noticed that! :pullshair:
Was it the "Waterboarding Rebirth" thread that your first got dupes?
I got dupes of your recent post on this thread too. :(:
