I am a volunteer with Mcdonald Ranch.org, a non-profit organization, www.Mcdonald (https://www.Mcdonald) Ranch.org, a Youth University and Animal Sanctuary, has SUMMER CAMP SESSIONS. Children attending the programs learn and experience the love, care and responsibility of livestock and domestic animals while gaining leadership and life skills
Each morning offers full participation on our farm and ranch sanctuary experiencing all phases of animal husbandry from goat milking to bottle feeding orphaned animals. Afternoons are busy with hands-on, life skill building activities in carpentry, cooking, nature studies, and ropes course. Then it's fun time with go-carting, horseback riding, games, archery, lapidary, swimming and more. AND SO MUCH MORE. Working with horses learning how to ride, equestrian care and stable management or join with day camp activities.
For June the dates are 6/8, 6/l5, 6/22, 6/29.
For July, the dates are 7/6, 7/13/7/20 and 7/27
For August, the dates are 8/3, 8/10 and 8/17.
