The California Supreme Court failed to overturn Prop 8.

Now we will go back to the ballot next year in November 2010 to restore marriage for same-sex couples by rescinding the Prop 8 amendment from the California Constitution.

Please join this fight for equality in your community. On which side of this struggle for equal rights and liberty will history find you on? 10 or 20 years from now while your sitting at the table with your family, what story will you be able to tell them about your role (or not) in the fight for marriage equality?

Please join today. Below are links to large organizations deeply involved in the struggle for marriage equality.

Thank you.

Edward,
Here is one more site on the subject. It proposes that the state drop the term "marriage" from the constitution as it is a religious term and use civil union for all unions same or opposite sex. The marriage of a same sex couple performed by a church that recognizes same sex unions could be called a marriage, if the couple chooses. It's some semantics and some separation of church and state. How about an amendment to tax churches that have become so politically active.
