Hello, I am a volunteer with McDonald Ranch, McDonald Ranch Home Page (https://www.mcdonaldranch.org) a certified Non Profit organization, and a Youth University and Animal Sanctuary.
They are currently seeking following volunteers to work ON SITE at the Ranch. Hopefully, you will want to be long term volunteers, meaning you will commit to at least 4 hours or more once a month. More time is also appreciated if you find you are able to volunteer your talents and time more frequently.
They are now looking for bookkeepers, file clerks, housekeepers, and CARPENTERS who can assist in tree house building and planning as well as with smaller projects for summer camp. Also seeking volunteers to paint outside trim and porches, as well as fence builders.
McDonald Ranch is also seeking volunteers who can help with feed runs (drive a trailer, unload hay and feed) on a monthly basis.
ALSO needed are a couple of good EQUESTRIAN RIDERS who would do some long-term work to a couple of great horses who need some consistent training to bring out their forgotten talents.
PLEASE NOTE that although I have not been on the ranch many times or for long periods of time, I have talked to a few of the volunteers who have been giving their time to the Ranch and all have stated they love volunteering at the Ranch. They like working with the animals and the surrounding beauty is much appreciated.
