I'm just putting this out there to everyone to raise awareness.
I went to the Willow Creek meeting last week and was sad to hear the grant money which keeps the area open to the public will be running out in June. They intend to keep the area open while they figure out how to find more grant money.
Willow Creek is a wonderful and pristine wilderness area under the watchful care of LandPaths. They do a superb job!
The next permit orientation is Sunday May 24 at 11:00 AM. If you enjoy Biking, Horseback, Walking/Hiking you should check out the meeting.
We as a community should think of ways to raise funds to help LandPaths keep this area open to the public.
