They did a great job of re-creating the personalities, themes and quirkynesss or the original series, while also making a damn good movie!

I also saw it on Saturday afternoon in Sebastopol. I enjoyed it very much. But it was hard to reconcile the slickness of the new production as a prequel to the clunky, funky original series. I liked the twists of the time travel paradox part of the plot.
