April 16, 2009 could be a great energy day for us here in Sonoma County. We are going to have a Wave Energy generation study in three places off the Sonoma County coast!
I found this press release from a newsletter post from Rue Firch, which led to the website for Friends of the Gualala River (https://gualalariver.org/river/wave-energy.html) which also happened to have this press release from SCWA (Sonoma County Water Agency) referenced on the official Federal Government website of FERC.gov! Funny how we find things...
There's a lot of runaround clicks, so I contacted a good person at FERC.gov and got permission to post the most direct link to comment on the Wave Energy Project at the bottom of this article. (https://getgreen.ning.com/profiles/blogs/wave-energy-project-may-come)
I'm excited about the prospect, but haven't looked at it critically. Any missing details?
Deadline for public comments is June 3, 2009.
