I've just received this request, and wanted to put it out to our Wacco community, from Rebuilding Together Director, Diane Broadhead.
We have a few unfinished projects, that need some help with the yard, would anyone be interested in helping out this Saturday? The weather is suppose to be in the 70’s so not too hot.
1. We need a small back yard tilled and leveled. The front walkway cleared, moving the rock to the back yard, leveled and pavers set in place. ( work 3/4 of a days work or 5-6 hours) House Capt is Dave Mochel and materials are on site. Nice man, easy to work with. The homeowner is a man in his 60’s and can’t do the work physically, however he is willing to help where he can. He has a beautiful front garden and his love for flowers is incredible, he definitely has a green thumb.
2. We have a side yard that need weeds pulled and debris cleared from the awning (roof) over the deck. (maybe half a day for 3-4 hours)
This is for Myrna Morenco, she is recovering from cancer surgery on her leg, and has a variety of other health problems. She is not physically able to do this work herself.
Please let me know as soon as possible.
Thanks so much.

As you could see, the remaining projects are not too big, I hope many of you will be able to volunteer a couple of hours of your time. The more of you that can help the faster and easier it will be for everyone participating. Rebuilding Together and these very deserving homeowners are depending on your kindness and giving community spirit to complete these projects. Can you please lend us a helping hand.
Please feel free to call me or Diane if you could help us out this weekend.
Thank you!
Teresa

There was a wonderful message about Rebuilding Together earlier today from a very happy homeowner. Rebuilding Together has several chapters in Sonoma County. We have one right here in Sebastopol. We just completed our annual work day on April 18. For information about Rebuilding Together -
