West County friends,

Tomorrow, Sunday 26, I 'm doing a triple header; I'm having a yard sale , celebrating my 62nd, and demonstrating the GleanEnergy project, which I am delighted to say I am taking to the Maker Faire,May 30/31.
I have devised a simple system using one-way valves to glean a small amount of energy from pedestrian activity, and to use it to raise water to a height of 10 feet or so. Making inference from my results so far, sixty people dancing would produce a gallon a second!; with that I can certainly put a water wheel and a shaft to an alternator of some indeterminate capacity and at least light some lights! (that is my most succinct description up to this point in time).
My aim right now is to make a demonstration in principle of what I refer to as the glean energy principle.
There are projects under weigh which are related: piezo crystals under the road surface, for instance. I believe it is necessary to explore all likely options for generating electricity locally.
I could, of course, go on.
But instead I would like to invite any who find some interest here to stop by at 320 South Brush St. in Graton; make a left off 116 at Oak Grove or at Graton Road, if you get as far as Edison , come back a block. I'm between Donald and Grey.

That sounds like a great interactive exhibit Michael. Is it still on display?
