Friends of Sonoma County Regional Parks:
As you may be aware, Sonoma County Board of Supervisors and County Administrator will begin a series of budget workshops this week to
solicit input about resolving the $11 million deficit in the 2009-10 fiscal year budget.We have been asked to help alert the public and park users to these workshops and suggest that you attend to speak on the value of park service during these difficult financial times. The Board is interested in hearing from as many residents as possible as they move forward with additional budget decisions in May and June.
County Administration and the Supervisors also are seeking input via a survey that you can access at this link: https://www.tsquaredsurveys.com/SonomaCountyBudgetSurvey/English.html
Here is the workshop schedule. Note that the meetings will be from 6-8 p.m.:
April 23 – Sonoma County Human Services Department
