Can we modify the Daily Digest's shape?

I like receiving the daily digest, but it comes to me with the comment listings almost twice as wide as my computer screen. I have to use the "horizontal blue margin cursors" (or whatever they are called) to scroll back and forth and read the listings. Is there a way to modify this?

Huh? Mine allows me to widen it and narrow as much as I want and the text just wraps to accomodate it. Does this happen all the time? Does it appear to be just a particular post or part of the digest?
