Do it! I'm down! My daughter, did it in the city to Michael Jackson's thriller and they performed at an Anti-war demo and people loved it! There are also Flashdances in the city where this guy sends out an email to tell you where in the city the next instant dance party is going to be and then tons of people show up and rock out to his bicycle portable sound system! If you that responded are serious, I'm ready to organize it. Why don't we bring our ideas together over coffee about song choice, location, dance configuration and brainstorm on how to create some magic. I'm envisioning the dance in some mundane place such as a bus station or a courthouse and make it come alive and get people to think.....have their heart beat a little faster for a moment and to smile.

There is a group on Facebook called "Free Range Sweat". They are in the Bay Area and want to do these types of happenings.

You can join their group to get notified when they are going to do a spontaneous dance event but you probably have to have a profile on Facebook. I think they are doing their first one at the Academy of Sciences on Thursday. Fun.
