Finally ready to enter the clucky world of chicken-tending; got their house ready, food and water just about organized, and am now seeking pullets. Anyone have three too many?

You might try a great local Yahoo group called Wine Country Chicken Chat. chickenchatcoop : California Wine Country Chicken Chat (https://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/chickenchatcoop/) We bought two hens, just about to lay, at Ranch Hag Hens in Petaluma. The Americauna we got there, laid her first blue egg this morning.
