COME*dance with Fairies, laugh with Pirates, sing with Tim Cain, and have tea with the Mad Hatter and Alice!*The Festival will be bustling with exciting activities that bring Storybook Characters to life and inspire a lasting love of reading. Especially for kids 1-8 and their families. Everyone welcome.
Saturday, May 16th
11am – 4:30pm
San Geronimo Preschool
6001 Sir Francis Drake Blvd at Nicasio Valley Road.
San Geronimo, CA 94963 – 15 minutes drive from San Rafael.
Plentiful parking in lot and on Sir Francis Drake.


Don’t miss the exciting, interactive and diverse story-themed activities including:

*Beloved characters portrayed by professional actors including the celebrated Queen Elizabeth from the Northern California Rennaisance Faire and notable Dickens Faire actors, talented Drake High actors, and many others.

* All children are invited to dress as a favorite story character and be in the parade at 11:30 am! Take a step back to an enchanted time with knights, princesses, fairies, dragons, ogres, and trolls. Or come as Curious George, Aladin, Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz, Anansi Spider, The Cat in the Hat, The Little Engine that Could or whoever your favorite story character is!

* Hannah Romanowsky* of Ashkenaz favorite Danceversity will perform and teach bollywood and bellydance.

*a performance from “the Mick Jagger of the Milk and Cookies Set” Tim Cain (formerly of 60’s icons Sons of Champlin)

*make-and-take crafts including gingerbread man decorating;

*fun games with characters like Humpty Dumpty, the Three Pigs, Charlie Brown and much more!

*a free play area; a castle jumpy and a giant inflatable slide to get those “ya-yas” out;

*a petting zoo; a science room sponsored by Edventure More!;*

*fanciful face painting & hair braiding

*storytelling fun with Alex Cusick, Heather Richardson and Jenny Breen-Justice of SGV School Readiness Program.

*Parents: make lunch easy: get delicious, affordable, organic food at the event!*

*Auction including celebrity items from Mike Farrell, Ed Asner, estate planning services, gift certificates, jewelry and much more! Proceeds benefit the renovation of the preschool, one of the most affordable preschools in Marin.
