Alas April's Fools day is here and I didn't get it together for any WaccoBB.net pranks :(: but at least we can collect/share pranks by others!

My two sweet, demure grandmothers were capable of pranks. My dad's mom made the family pancakes with round pieces of flannel embedded in them. No one could cut them. I guess she made them big enough so they couldn't choke you. My other grandmother had a wooden rack for spools of thread in the hallway. She pulled one end of the thread out to the dining room and would give it a little tug at intervals, causing a odd little whirring noise. She kept it up for quite a while, until I noticed her little smile and caught on!
