I am a volunteer with McDonald Ranch, McDonald Ranch Home Page (https://www.mcdonaldranch.org), a nonprofit organization, is a YOUTH UNIVERSITY, and ANIMAL SANCTUARY, located in Santa Rosa.
We are very much in need of VOLUNTEERS, with heavy experience in Administration and working on COMPUTERS. WE Need people who are good communicators via phone and emails to work from your own home and computer for following positions.
Specifically, right now, we are looking for (1) SOMEONE to work with myself in posting for volunteers, following up, making and receiving calls, record keeping both on computer and paper filing. And, help in workking with the Google Business Sites Apps. At least some knowledge of Google's Business Applications and Sites will be so helpful but not a requirement.
We need SEVERAL PEOPLE TO HELP US in THE ABOVE SITUATION.
(2) Several people to ANSWER McDonald Ranch PHONES (from your own home and phone without interfering with your own calls-- another number will be assigned from which the calls will be made and received) No additional equipment necessary.
(3) Several volunteers to READ and RESPOND TO AS MUCH of the email messages for Mcdonald Ranch as they can, and give rest to LINDA McDonald for her response.
IN ALL OF THESE ASSIGNMENTS, we do require a commitment from you of at least 4 hours a day, week, or month. We are happy if you can give more time but all of these tasks do involve a certain amount of time to handle it efficiently. Thus our requirement for a minimum of at least 4 hours commitment.
There are so many other volunteer positions we need help with, such as designing everything about Mcdonald Ranch Booth for FAIR on the 28th of March, which starts at 10 AM and lasts until 4 PM. We need LOTS OF HELP on both days. SEE OUR WEB SITE FOR MORE INFO about our work with children and animals, and HOW YOU CAN HELP by volunteering to get us set up and then assisting during the FAIR. WE think you might enjoy this day.
So if after reviewing the web site, you are interested in volunteering for any of above tasks, all of which we need help with as soon as possible, please fill out the Adult Application which is on the Web Site with all instructions on how you can fill it out and how and where to submit the completed Application. Once received, you will be immediately contacted by Linda McDonald or Myself, Helen.
