I would like to know what people's experience has been with Pogowave internet services. In particular, anyone that has their 900 MHz service for places like Joy Road in West Occidental. I currently have satellite internet, and it is very slow and drops frequently. It would be worth the price Pogowave charges if the service is much better, but it certainly wouldn't be worth it if it isn't significantly better.

Anyone?

Thank You,
Oceanbreath7

I see no one replied to this. I've had pogowave for a year and am very satisfied. It's expensive relative to DSL and about the same as satelite. Way better than satelite.

Hey, I had heard that Pogowave is no longer around...Clearly if you have it I must have heard wrong. I heard Sonic.net bought them. untrue?

Sonic bought them maybe 3-4 years ago and then just sold the service to something called CDS. I've had fo 7 years; the first 3 were really rough, but it's been more reliable than PGE or the telephone where I live (hills between Occidental and Forestville).
