Login Requests, Snailmail and Avatar Access

Yo Barry,

In the last couple of months I've often had to login on the site when I use my favorites link to open the webpage. This didn't use to happen. Sometimes now, and always before, I went right to the page with my login intact. What's up wit dat?

Is it because I'm a "Free" Member? I sent you a check (remember PayPal has me locked out) almost two weeks ago. How often do you check your P.O. box?

Is my "Free" status also why I have no option to use an avatar?

Questions that I've been thinking about for at least a month.... (Well, except for that check receipt part.)

Right you are! I made it to my P.O. box just now. Thanks for your check and support! Yes, avatars were limited to supporting members, but I have now extended them to free members as well because I want the site to be as personal as possible.

Don't know about your login cookies. It doesn't have anything to do with your paid membership status. Check whether you are linking to the site using the "www" or not, and if you are using .net or .com. Best is to use "https://www.waccobb.net"
