Would you have any reference material on your
statements in the video that one fifth of our petroleum
consumption involves the agricultural industry and that it
accounts for one third of the green house gases ?
I do like the mention of "Victory Gardens" in the
video. And the presentation of such gardens as
a partial solution. As you also mentions, our current
food system is very vulnerable to terrorist attacks
and a National Security issue that has been ignored.
The correlations that you draw between the history
of politics in food and the chronic illnesses breaking
our health care system should be an eye opener for
many people.
Since it is "always about the money", this San Francisco
newspaper article offers some insight on how cash
strapped schools could make a few dollars, too.
