I know there's sort by newest or oldest first, but there's not a tree view to see who is replying to what is there? Sometimes when no quoting is used and someone does not say who they are directing the comments toward it would just come in handy to see who is talking to who.

I can understand your desire, but I have turned off that feature because I think it would confuse many people.

Most replies have quotes to help provide the context.

What about the people it would not confuse, and the many posts that do not contain quotes? Some threads get very hard to follow when arranged in date order, sometimes with several discrete conversations going on simultaneously. Could you not give us access to the feature and suggest at the top that those who find it confusing should not use it, with a button to take them to a less confusing view?

I am not crazy about being protected from hypothetical confusion at the expense of being denied an undoubtedly useful feature.

"You can't please all the people all the time"

I gave a shot of adding it back in, but it breaks the interface at this point. Sorry.
