I was thinking that it might be fun to go to Infusions in Sebastopol and meet up for tea. I was hoping that this could become a regular event. I think a lot of people don't take to relax and having a cup of tea on a Sunday morning sounds like the perfect way to do so.:fairy duster:

I like the idea, as well. I think it would be nice to have a provocative question to discuss and come with a few ideas about the subject, without making it a 'big deal', just a conversation starter. Infusions has a nice, relaxed atmosphere and great tea!

This sounds like a great idea. Let's figure out a time and day that would work for all of us.

So what do you think would be a good conversation starter?

I promise to bring other bodies from Marin if any wants to go, at least one. Although there's no evidence of a mad rush the amount of room cleared in my car is proportionate to the amount of notice I'm given..

As for topic, I guess what provokes or eh, what you find provocative might be a question to consider to get started?

Well we could always discuss mariachi music:thumbsup:

Well I suppose there doesn't have to be just one topic, it would be nice to know that at least one other person is interested in the topic you're interested in, though.

So on a serious note, I'd like to consider something along the lines of social responsibility and things along the lines of basic decency that Triage posted in that thread. Yeah it's typical to want to keep it light and "not too serious", but well look at it this way, what better way to see what a person is really about than something serious? Humor is important too but of course not if it's a strategy of avoidance. Frankly interpersonal dynamics gets a little boring for me, it seems we can think a little bigger than that and should for many reasons.

This video is kind of along the same line of thought of that post:
