Oh my god, this is so silly. The reason I stopped was because he flipped me off. It was not because there wasn't enough room and it wasn't because I went flying through the lot. There was plenty of room for me to pass, I was driving slowly and so was he.

You make it sound way worse than it was. The whole moment was so small and insignificant it really did not warrent that man flipping me off..
Not much warrants flipping someone off, but neither does not taking responsibility for one's own actions.
And honey if I wasn't a safe driver I would not be a driver where I work and I would not have a class B license.
So once again, don't assume.

If we follow your logic, it follows that having a class B license and a job where you work automatically means that one is a safe driver.

interesting how warning of imminent departure of head from neck for sticking one's nose in is ok for our group consciousness yet the fact that assumptions can lead to misunderstandings where the simplest gesture of communication of thumbs down or other fingers raised is a symptom of societal hostility and deserving of shock. is somehow skewed and cause for further investigation by some edumucated one out there.

After my first post was removed, I spotted your gratuitous violence post ("and blown your head off") and decide to do a little experiment.
I was wondering if Barry bans people for what they write or just for how he perceives them.
I decided to use your (Jeff's) word and not mine.
First I started to use the gun-methaphor for the crude tool he uses to censor me. Those he removed.
(I got a private email after that, telling me in essence that I am not allowed to tell people in public that I am being censored.)
Then I started to use your words verbatim (since he had no problem with you using them in that thread).Those got removed too
Then I started to only use your words. My posts were removed, yours stayed.
As you can see your conclusion that he is obsessive was quite astute as many of your observation are.

Not so. DevaKai deleted it. This is non consistent with my policy but I can understand her feelings. I have been disappointed with by how unkind people have been. I will consider how to handle this.

As NurtureTruth pointed out, if she didn't want feedback why post it in the first place? Sometimes we get wrapped up in our own little world and not being able to see how it affects others.
As CSummer pointed out it is valuable to examine one's reactions to different situations.
Braggi even pointed out that "he might have pulled out a gun and blown your head off."
And of course my contribution that E=MC2 and everything follows from there
All of this is valuable information.

What a shame. And what a loss.
It had great potential and I felt grateful to DevaKai for posting it.
It will be missed.
I found DevaKai's thread a wonderful contribution to the conscious loving category.
Her sharing not only allowed her to vent or reflect , but it also was a gift to the community : for us to share our experiences of how we deal with unpleasant vibes.
I guess in this cause, despite the empathy , compassion and reflection shown to Devakai, she decided to do what she felt was in the best interest for her well being ...which I can appreciate.
However, when she first posted the thread, she had to have been aware the community would chime in . Why share w/community if you don't want reflection or discussion?
When she deleted the thread.. in my opinion, she robbed herself and also others the experience.
I do hope she learned something about herself though.
And perhaps she will think twice before posting her experiences in life on waccobb.
Its been my obesrvations and expereince that onne has to either have thick skin , a sense of humor, the ability to use sarcacm or cynicism or perhaps the ability to take things lightly when being part of this community.
Perhaps the rant and rave section of craigslist community is more of an appropriate place for her to vent.

Feeling disappointment is one reason I continue to work on releasing and letting go of any attachments or expectations I may have of people/humans.. or even the concept of community... though i DO remain hopeful.
People
some are kind, some are loving, some are unkind without intending to be, and some are intending unkindness while others just don't seem to care.
some are working through or with their emotions, and some are choosing to distract themselves...
to perhaps not feel or look at their experiences ; to numb themselves - delete.
others learn, dance and or celebrate.
some are happy, some are sad,
some are laughing while others get mad.
Some love with their mind and think/act with their heart ,
while others think/act with their mind and not from the heart.
some are even driven by hormones or sex drives
Some are stagnant. Some are creative ; we are all flowing.
Ever been to 5 rhythm dance?
