Wow! I saw this movie today and was impressed enough to shout about it a bit. Such a great and insightful depiction of the times and the issue, and a stunning performance by Penn. Both he and the director should win academy awards! This is a film that's at the top of its genre - a cultural gem. I think everyone should see it and be prepared to learn something - such a moving experience comes along so rarely!
