How have the Google adwords been working out as an income stream for Waccobb.net? Any problems? Are you happy with this service? Is the click-thru rate good?

The google ads started off pretty strong, generating around $10/day but have since fallen back to about $3/day with an average of about 4,000 page views/day that contain a google ad. There haven't been any problems and the ads are often localish and relevant. Nicely enough there haven't been any complaints.
It sure would be nice if more people clicked on them! :wink:
I'm also going to giving more attention to getting our WaccoBB.net sponsors to use that space for our own local ads. I think it is a very visible space and it reaches un-registered guests on the site who don't get the digest. A 4-week banner run there is only $120.
