Maybe you, your friends or family are looking for some income?

In the past, Census I've worked as an Enumerator for several, was able to also work in my own business, and enjoyed it: I walked all over San Anselmo, Ross, and west San Rafael for about 3 months.

This work is paying $20/hour!

Please pass it on to your friends and family. I can promise you there's space to test about 150 applicants in San Rafael and Hamilton alone! (Ask specifically if you can test at Unity or in San Rafael! Of course, if you live elsewhere, there's work and testing in your locale, too!)

Jobs!

Over the next 18 months, many temporary jobs are available with The Census Bureau for qualified applicants. (Bilingual speakers are encouraged, but not a requirement.)

Help yourself:
• Pleasant work
• Competitive, weekly pay
• Flexible hours
• Paid training
• Authorized mileage & expenses reimbursed

Serve your community:
• Accurate distribution of Federal funds
• Sufficient emergency (& other) services where needed
• Ample, appropriate legislative representation
...and much more!

For more information, or to apply, call NOW: 1 (866) 861-2010
or visit: Census Bureau Home Page (https://www.census.gov)

Practice for the aptitude test **BEFORE** your appointment:
www.census.gov (https://www.census.gov/)/2010censusjobs/documents/Practice_Test.pdf

Bring your passport, or drivers license and Social Security card, a copy of your DD214 (if a veteran). Take the test more than once, to get the highest score you can!!!

Good luck, and may you have an EXCELLENT year!

Great post, actually the enumerators in this general area make $13-$15 an hour. $20 and above is only for supervisors and managers.

Not sure what area you're in, but in Marin Enumerators get $20/hour, Crew Leaders and Recruiting Assistants get $21.50. Other parts of the country the pay is adjusted for the local cost of living.

Several hundred (temporary) jobs in Marin, though. When I was an Enumerator in 2000, I made at least $15, and ended up working for a total of 6 months. I enjoyed it, had control of my schedule, and was able to work both on my biz and Census, both full time!

I have a friend just hired for the Santa Rosa office. He is an office supervisor and he told me the current rates. The rates in your area seem much higher than what he has been told.

Ah, you're talking to someone in a clerical position, not a field Enumerator. Different job.
