going to the next level

I was in a relationship that was fun.We did all kinds of stuff that brought us joy.We marveled at how effortlessly being together was. What happened?She couldn't go to the next level.The words "casual relationship" started to surface.I couldn't,my feelings were by no means casual.I lose and I'm hurting.Five months is both short and long,much of my heart and hopes were involved.I'm new to being out there again and have forgotten what "dating" is.Feeling somewhat lost.
