Contribute to Sebastopol and America

Hi Friends-
Many of you have heard Obama ask that we take some time on Monday to contribute to America. If you haven't, go to see Obama at Barack Obama | Change We Need | Watch Barack's Personal Message (https://my.barackobama.com/page/invite/thefuture) One of our neighbors has distributed bags so we can give food to the Redwood Empire Food Bank. I plan to do some clean up on the median strip on Hayden. I hope you will pick up trash or prune shrubs that overhang the street, or find some other way to contribute to our community. We can’t do much by our selves but together we can make a difference.

Such a good idea!

Taking it one step further, wouldn't it be fun to create a way to identify everyone who took the time to do something and what they did and maybe have a celebration at the end of the year?

Something like that certainly would capture the unique spirit of Obama's message and keep it alive instead of eventually losing steam.
