Hi everyone! I hope it is OK to post here I wasn't sure which board this belongs in since we aren't selling anything, just networking/supporting but...
If you are a parent and work from home, own a business based out of your home, or in general support or are looking for a home based business, there is a new Sonoma County networking group we'd like to invite you to! This group right now is an online Yahoogroup but the plan is to meet up and help promote each others' businesses through something called The Parent Pack. This is a packet of everyone's info that we distribute throughout the county to targeted markets. For example when I do a home party I give a Parent Pack out as a "goodie bag" to my guests, or we might give them out to people who move into the area, or to people who just had babies, or to various corporate office employees etc. Each pack will have info from every member who wants to include something - a biz card, a sample, a flier, a coupon, etc. If you are interested in joining or just finding out what it is all about please join the yahooogroup at

It is based on the same concept as the national MomPack.com which has been very successful.
I am not the one running it but just one of the founding members and really like the gal running it, I think she has a lot of great ideas for how we can help each other get some exposure throughout the county. We are thinking about sharing a booth at the upcoming Family Expo so get involved ASAP if you are interested, whether or not you would like to participate in that. THANKS
