Thank you to everyone who sent me gratitude and messages. If you want to send a letter to Mr. Carillo, please feel free to do so. I have done what I intended to do.

If you want "Efrem" to take your letter seriously, I'd suggest spelling his first name right, LOL!

I'm not certain that I am doing this correctly since this is my first attempt at posting a remark. I do wish to say that along with the many people who voted for Efren Carrillo, throughout the campaigning I found him to be a thoughtful, intelligent and sincere person who applied himself seriously to the issues instead of just showing up at a "debate" or "forum" and "winging it" or relying on already existent knowledge. To me that showed he had a lot of respect for the attendees. I have no doubt that he has a strong interest and concern for people in the Russian River area. I am not concerned whether or not he reappoints Rue Furch. I have no doubt that he will do what he thinks is best for the Planning Commission and the people of the County, especially those in the Fifth District. Already, since the official announcement of the election results, Efren has been in the Russian River area several times, to talk and listen to people. Moreover, on Thanksgiving Day, Efren was at the Guerneville Vets Hall working with us in the kitchen for up to three hours, preparing plates to be served to the homeless in our community. On Dec 10 he attended the Russian River Chamber of Commerce Christmas Dinner put on at Dawn's Ranch and Restaurant, again, to talk and listen to the business people. Obviously, these were not "vote getting" or "photo opt" gestures; rather, ithey were the actions of a caring and concerned human being who will be working long hours on behalf of our community. If you go to the original post that started this thread you'll see that his name is spelled correctly. I've noticed at times spelling errors seem to creep in inexplicably. I've noticed it in my own posts now and then.
