What difference btwn Dvd English 5.0 and 5.1? [Archive]

Hi All,

I am wondering what the difference is on our DVD's language selection between English 5.0 and English 5.1? They both say Dolby.

5.0 has 5 normal speakers (Front right, Front center, Front left, Rear right & Rear left)
and no sub-woofer (A Special low frequency bass speaker)

5.1 has 5 normal speakers and 1 sub-woofer
