This morning our home was robbed and ransacked between the hours of 8:30am and noon.
Our neighbor saw two white males, roughly 30 years old on our doorstep during that time. We are in the McFarlane Ave/Fircrest St neighborhood.
The house was locked and they broke the back door in with a hoe that we had left out. They took everything small they could (computer, ipods, dvd player), plus cleaned us out of our treasured family heirloom jewelery.
Please keep an eye out for your neighbors.

I have a little more info.
The two suspects were spotted first on the front door, of our house, probably ringing the bell to figure out if anyone was home at approx. 9:30am.
Then they were spotted leaving the area on, exiting between two houses on Fircrest St near McFarlane at 11:30am, walking with at least one full small travel bag taken from our home filled with the stolen goods. They were last seen walking on Fircrest towards 116.
The first suspect was a taller, male, white, early 20’s, white basketball shorts over navy blue sweats, jacket had a lot of colors, short dark hair.
The second suspect was a male, 18 or so, white , wavy brown hair, shorter, 5’6, dark blue pants, blue jacket, carrying a blue small travel bag.
They were also possibly spotted at the Safeway in town earlier in the morning, 7am-9am.
If anyone has seen these suspects please contact the Sebastopol Police Dept, at 829-4400, a full report was taken.

A very similar scenario happened over the summer on Hessel rd. About four or five houses were robbed. The suspects were described as hispanic looking males, this may or may not be accurate. They were reportedly knocking on doors to ask for gas money, but if no one answered, they broke in & stole money, guns, & other things too I'm sure.
Could be the same people.....
