Just another beautiful morning..maybe feelin' a little down about the state of the world, when I saw a boy, maybe about ten years old, outside the Whole Foods. He had a device in his hand - a small solar panel attached to a motor and a fan, all mounted on a short stick (In other wods, a solar-powered personal fan). I asked him about it, and he said he'd made it himself, just to see if it could be done. I wanted to hug his parents, tell them what a gift they'd given the world. These kids are my hope for the future.
