Proposition 7 - Renewable Energy Generation

I don't know about this one. Anybody out there want to share their opinion about this?

On the face of it seems to be supporting renewable energy, but the opponents (including the NRDC and Unions of Concerned Scientists) seem to have some credible complaints. I'm leaning towards No. How about you? And why?

I was impressed that the Democrats and Republicans, the Sierra club, women voters, most major newspapers are united in saying NO to this one, because it is so poorly written. It's a damn shame that most of the green initiatives seem to be a NO this time.

I think this initiative system is broken. I am so tired of voting against poorly written laws, and ones that are declared unconstitutional after the vote. How stupid is that?

Is not the big money behind this No on 7 campaign, coming from the same group that sold us deregulation and subsequent Enron?..and they are calling this "another flawed energy scheme"? Just a thought.
