Hirshfield Endorses Furch for County Supervisor

Rue says: “I am honored to have the endorsement of my long time friend and colleague Maddy Hirshfield. "For some twenty years I have worked hard, and side by side with many others – including Rue Furch – to continue to move <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /><st1:place w:st="on"><st1:PlaceName w:st="on">Sonoma</st1:PlaceName> <st1:PlaceType w:st="on">County</st1:PlaceType></st1:place> toward a progressive future. There are many challenges ahead, from balancing the need to maintain the beauty and natural resources of the <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:PlaceName w:st="on">West</st1:PlaceName> <st1:PlaceType w:st="on">County</st1:PlaceType></st1:place> with the need to build a sustainable infrastructure that provides good jobs and safe, livable communities. We must do our part to limit the effects of global warming and we simply have to work toward an affordable healthcare system that provides quality, accessible healthcare for all <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:PlaceName w:st="on">Sonoma</st1:PlaceName> <st1:PlaceType w:st="on">County</st1:PlaceType></st1:place> residents. The 5th District encompasses a diverse range of issues, from The Sea Ranch to Roseland, and everything in between. Rue Furch is the candidate who possesses the greatest range of experience and understands the issues and challenges that will best meet those needs. I am committed to a progressive future for <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:PlaceName w:st="on">Sonoma</st1:PlaceName> <st1:PlaceType w:st="on">County</st1:PlaceType></st1:place> and the 5th District and Rue is the best opportunity for that. Because of this, I believe Rue Furch is absolutely the best choice for 5th District Supervisor. She has my full support."<o:p></o:p>

I am genuinely looking forward to many years of working together for a sustainable future for all the residents of our communities.
