Signing in

Hi,

Until recently, I was automatically signed in when I came to the site, but that has stopped. I have the "Remember me" checked, but still I now have to sign in, why?

It's possible your login cookie expired. When I first installed the system the "remember me" was only good for a year. This is a common approach by many websites. Since then, I've extended the cookie to 10 years whenever it is reset (after the old one expired and for new users). This will make it easier for me and you.

You also would be prompted if you access the site from a different browser. I don't know about browser upgrades (Internet Explorer 6.0 -> 7.0), but that might cause it too.
