Is there, or could there please be, a feedback system for individual posts? Thumbs up or down, 0 to 4 stars, whatever?
I am so tired of ending up reading drivel, that I find myself checking in less and less frequently. Esp. since the digest seems to be undeliverable any more.
Many thanks!

frogboy, are you saying that you want a little guide telling you what to read based on other people's opinions?

and next, shall we vote on each other's faces so we know which ones are worth peering into?

I love WACCO's dedication to individuality and wonder why, Barry, you would think this is a good idea.

Wait, don't you ever read film, book,or restaurant reviews? Don't you form opinions about people whose posts you begin to ignore? I do; it doesn't mean that I don't make up my own mind about them.

As WaccoBB.net continues to grow, you have to end up choosing what to read and what not to. I instituted categories, gratitude, thread ratings (though its not used much), ignore list, thread subscriptions and unsu bscriptions, as tools to help you find what you are interested in. Post ratings would be another.

I have thought about having two "best of" lists. One by me (and/or other moderators) and one by the community. As I said, "someday..."
