I have a Toshiba 2410-s203. It was working just fine. One day I was getting ready to reinstall Windows XP...and it just shut down on me. Now, it wont turn back on. I've tried taking the battery out, reseading the hard-drive, etc...I'm not sure what it is. Igf anyone could help me, I would appreciate it. You can email me at [email protected]. Thanks alot guys.

Mathew,
You might check here: https://www.laptoprepair101.com/ and doing some other searches on the net. Sometimes overheating will cause a shut down which is fixed by letting it sit till it cools and then it will start up only to shut down if it gets hot. If it does this it could need new thermal grease on the CPU or the fans are not running when they should.

Have you tried seeing if it will turn on with just the battery and the power cord removed?

It could be some simple thing or a dead motherboard. :hmmm:
