This category is for offering or seeking either a full-time or part-time employment.
Employment is distinguished from a client/contractor based relationship on the following distinctions:
Employment is an ongoing arrangement with pay by the hour for at least 12 hours per week
An employee typically only works for one employer, a contractor often works for many clients
Employee work is done at the direction of the employer, a contractor works relatively independently at a specific task
No purchases are required by the employee
Contractors are usually hired for a fixed duration to perform very specific tasks or complete a designated project.
An exception is made for client/contractor relationships where the pay is limited to $15/hour or less. If you are requesting an hourly rate of no higher than $15/hr, you may use this category.
