No digest for 2 days

Has the new system of not getting the digest started? If so, I am currently at the website and I can't see where an option exists to see todays posts...or whatever we are supposed to do here to get the digest.

Please advise someone who might know.

1. When is the new system going into effect?
2. What EXACTLY are we digest people supposed to be doing to get the digest.

We put in the system update yesterday (Friday) and it seems to be working well. The digest didn't go out Thursday night either, so it's not the update. I don't know what the problem is at this point. I was hoping it was some intermittent glitch since we didn't make any changes to the digest on Thursday, but apparently something is wrong. So I'll be working on it today.

Well, I'm stumped!

Sorry folks, I've debugged this as far as I can. I'll have to wait until I can work on this with my programmer on Monday.

For Now, you can see Saturday's digest here (https://www.waccobb.net/forums/waccobb/junk/Digest2008_09_27.html).

And making the digest available on the website on a regular basis is coming soon!

When you do change to the website digest, please give simple instructions. Will there still be daily email Digests? I have to admit, I'm a little stumped on the coming change.

Yep, the digest is back, thanks to Richard Bellamy who joined the team a couple of months back! Yay, Richard!!! He first worked on the thorny problem of Yahoo treating any email from WaccoBB.net as spam and then when on to complete a features release I had started a long time ago, which we just installed. Stangely, the digest problem started the day before we put in new release and we hadn't changed anything! :hmmm:

We'll have an "about us" page up before long that gives a short bio and introduction our growing team, including Ally Branson (assistant moderator) and Lauren Thomas (Community Relations), both of whom work part time. I'm hoping they will all join us for the WaccoBB.net Community Picnic on Oct 18th!

The Digest still works the same. We won't be changing it for a few weeks. I'll let you know all about it when the time comes, and you won't need any instructions!
