Perhaps the creation of a Wacco Hall of Fame, exhibiting profiles and biographies with photos of outstanding and involved members of this forum, would be a good idea.
In such a case, I would like to nominate Valley Oak, among others, to this distinguished group of participants in the online community.

He'd probably curse you for associating him with people he doesn't like.

I'm a little shocked to get this from you for several reasons, the simplest of which is that it's not true.
Yes, VO flew off the handle a lot and had confrontations with quite a few folks in this community but that does not mean that he disliked it or even the majority of its members. Just one observation is that if what you said were true then why would he spend so much time here? That's a very clear indication otherwise. Also, there are people here who have publicly expressed their friendship to him because they know him personally and vice-versa. That's probably even stronger evidence to the contrary of what you're saying. For example, what do you consider his attitudes were towards you? I know that his attitude towards me is a very positive one and we have had plenty of offline communication that has demonstrated it.
I respect your opinion, don't get me wrong, but I felt a need to respond to your post.

Mike,
I have nothing against VO, he can be quite entertaining.
But he does have strong likes and dislikes.
So when you say "the simplest of which is that it's not true.". are you speaking for your self or did you ask Edward?

I did not ask Edward directly if he disliked one person and liked another. But in our email conversations since he was banned, there was nothing regarding that kind of talk. Edward's a great guy but he has a thorny personality and can be rash. I have never had a problem with him. So yes, I do speak for myself but I also speak from my observations on this board and the electronic conversations that I've had with him. He does not have an "enemies list" like Nixon did, which is kind of the feeling I got from your post (not that it's a big deal either and I don't think it's important to pursue this thread). Strong likes and dislikes? Sure, but then everybody has those.

Mike, if VO hadn't been banned, he would have seen the truth in my humor and given me gratitude, like he has before.

Aha! I need to train my senses to be able to appreciate life's treasures, both subtle and gross.
Thanks,
Mike
