We checked the Chicago Tribune this morning and they waited until page 9 to post an article in which the Congressional Research Office concluded Bush broke the law when he authorized spying on Americans.
Although the mainstream media claims that they are "neutral" and just objectively report the "facts" -- and we'll leave aside the dubious claim to "neutrality" for the moment -- news editors basically make "editorial" decisions on what they report on and where they place stories, if they post them at all.
The fact that a paper like the Chicago Tribune chose to bury an article that confirms that Bush broke the law in spying on Americans like us -- and has vowed to continue the illegal program -- is testament to the news bias of the mainstream media.
Check your local non East Coast paper to see where they put the article on the findings of the Congressional Research Service, if they published it at all. Remember, breaking the law is an impeachable offense.
The Tribune regularly ran breathless front page stories about the non-Whitewater story and Clinton's moment of fellatio.
But spying on Americans and breaking the law by a president is just a minor story for the mainstream media?
Priorities, priorities.
